The Woodhatch Centre.
The Woodhatch Centre is a modern
building designed to cater for the needs of all sections of the
community.
It acts as a centre for the active retired and 50+ age range for social
activities during weekdays and is open from Monday - Friday 9.30am -
4pm.
A vast range of facilities are available and the Centre holds many
interesting and engaging activities during the week ,
in addition the Centre's many rooms are in constant use by community
organisations seven days a week.
The active retired who use the building enjoy sharing it with the
community organisatins, who range from babies to pensioners.
A range of hot meals, breakfasts and snacks are served on weekdays -
available to order on arrival at the Centre.
Snacks and Lunches are bookable at reception - up to 11:30am
The building has parking facilities and full access for those with
mobility problems.
Hairdressing , Chiropody and Beauty Therapy are also avaialble by
appointment

News
Line Dancing
Line Dancing started on 11th January and has become hugely popular with our members.
A ten week trial period was agreed with the teacher and ends on 21st March.
As this is run by WEA it is worked in ‘terms’ coinciding with the schools. The new sessions will start on Wednesday 25th April and are being split into two groups, Beginners/ Improvers & Improvers/ Advanced each session now being 45 minutes.
Members who have been attending will know which group they belong in and anyone wishing to join must first speak to the office to see if there are any places available.
The course will run for five weeks up to the May/ June half term and then a further five weeks to 9th July.

Lunches
Celebrate St George's day with us on Monday 23rd April and enjoy a new
home cooked menu of traditional British food.
A spring Buffet Lunch will be arranged for Tuesday 22nd May, so add this date to your diary, too.
Don't forget to book in advance for these meals.
Down the Hatch
Our new cafe called down the hatch opened on the 2nd April 2012. This is now managed by the Woodhatch Assocation.
You will be able to come into the Centre and order a breakfast from 9.30 to 11.15am and have it served to eat in the reception area.
Fresh Sandwiches are available to order up to 1pm, the price has been reduced to £1.50, these can be collected from the snack bar counter.
Snack lunches are served from 11am -12.30pm
The meal of the day can be ordered up to 11.30am and is served in the dining room from mid-day.
A small selection of desserts will be available daily as requested.
